This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use our website at www.ogroupuae.com (the “Site”), contact our agents, attend a property viewing, or otherwise engage our brokerage services.
We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”), its implementing regulations, and applicable real estate and anti-money laundering laws. To keep records, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal rights (legal obligation / legitimate interest).
Under the PDPL, we do not rely on “legitimate interest” as a basis for processing that requires your consent โ where consent is required (for example, marketing or non-essential cookies), we will ask for it as a free, specific, informed, and unambiguous affirmative action, and you may withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We require third parties who process data on our behalf to protect it in line with this policy and applicable law.

Where we transfer personal data outside the UAE โ for example, to a cloud service provider or an overseas buyer/seller โ we will only do so to countries recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, or subject to appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections), your explicit consent, or another exception permitted under the PDPL.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Identification and transaction records collected for anti-money laundering purposes are generally retained for a minimum of five years from the end of the business relationship or transaction, in line with UAE AML regulations. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent or opt out.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and staff confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
